The war took place because of The French and Great Britain both wanting the Ohio River Valley. The Reason that they wanted the Ohio River Valley is because they wanted the resources that would help with the fur trade. They did not want larger world conflict.
What were the results of the war?
This war resulted in the British getting control and ownership of the Ohio River Valley after the treaty of Paris. The French and Indian War will eventually lead to the American Revolution because of tax on goods.
