OUR CLIL PROJECT
Besides discussing the different ways in which we pollute the world and its reaction to it, we learnt about the variety of Goals that were set for 2030 to save the Earth.
We took part in many entertaining activities regarding the 2030 Agenda: we started off by searching for information about the goal that was assigned to each student. Then we had to share our research and design our own digital poster about it.

Last February a Spanish teacher came over to see what we had performed during the CLIL hours, we presented the posters and gave a small speech to explain the Goals.
Because of the virus, this month we weren't able to go to school. However, that didn't stop us: we started videocalls and focused on online activities.
Every Monday, at 4:00pm, we have a video lesson. We usually start off by asking questions about the tasks that we have to do online. Then, we start the actual activity until the call ends. After that, we have a deadline to upload our work to Google Classroom. Thanks to this platform we can communicate with the teachers and the other students whenever we need it.

Apart from Google Classroom, we also use TwinSpace: the online platform where we communicate with other students from Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Germany involved in the eTwinning project "Making Sustainability Goals Possible". We also share our projects and comment on each other’s work.
During our latest assignment, we have been divided into international teams to choose which activity is best to represent the Goals from the Agenda. We have our own groups of 5 or more pupils from different parts of Europe and, for our projects, we have many options to choose from: make a poster, Kahoot quizzes or apps that might came in handy whilst working on the topic.

To summarise all our hard work, we have made an e-book about the 2030 Agenda, where you will find posters and videos regarding this topic.
