Polish people are very catholic and traditional.

Poland is famous for pierogi (dumplings). They can be served with diffternt stuffing e.g. mushrooms, spinach, potato and cheese, meat or fruit.

Football is the most popular sport in Poland.

In our contry the most popular surname is Nowak, Kowalski and Wiśniewski. There are about 137.000, 88.000 and 69.000 families with these names.

Polish language is one of the most difficult to learn, because there are many specific sounds. We have letters like: ą, ę, ć, ń, ś, ż, ź, ch, dz, dż, dź, cz, sz, rz :)

Poland has very diverse nature. We have beaches, mountains, ferests, deserts and lakes.

Polish people are vey hospitable, nice to others and want to help foreigners.

In Poland when you are a guest and enter someone's house, you need to take off your shoes and put on slippers.
