Spies helped the Colonists and Presidents. They helped them get secrets From the British. Spies were British but they were on the American side. For example, one Spy was named Charlie, and his mom put him out on a mission. She sewed a button that was hollow and she put a secret code in it and she gave him a secret name. Charlie Said to the British that he's going to go to his grandma’s house. But he actually went past his grandma’s house. An American guy grabbed him behind and dragged him to the American Camp and they inspected him. But then he ran from the Americans and he got theInformation to the President.
Paevere gave his spies the name The Mechanics. Mechanic means that they made things by hand. Paul Rearmyvere had a Secret Club in Boston. It Was called the Sons of Liberty. He built the guns for the British.

Tea Party.
This is a big event. The Boston Tea Party was when the colonists threw boxes of tea off of the ship and left it there in the ocean . They did this because they had to pay tax for the Tea Act and Sugar Act. This is important because the British love tea and sugar. They were hoping that if they threw tea off the boat that they would get no tea taxes. The Indians were dressed up with towelsAnd they were dressed up with black frog on their face and they froze tee off the boat and let it stay in the water for the longest time and one of the Indians said that I don't care I'm going to throw tea off the ship forever and ever because I want the Tea Act to stop and he said if it doesn't stop that they are going to have a fight Is the king of British And the Indian said that they're going to try and change the law for the window act the Tea Act and other Acts
