The 1916 Easter Rising

After the war had concluded, while there was no more fighting, the executions had a huge effect on Ireland. Previously, the Rebels were seen as, well, rebels! They were the troublemakers, the people who always created mischief. However, after the war, they transformed from evil villains to brave heroes. Their courage was admired by the country, and they were known as Ireland&apos;s heroes. 100 years later, we still haven&apos;t forgotten this memorable event. It has had a large effect on Ireland, and it is partially why Ireland is the free, independent county it is today!
