Two children moved to Miller's End
but there was a tragic death of a friend.
Mrs Wicking would walk in pain
as she thought about that winter day.

As she wore a black vail
and she looked pail
she stood outside watching Billy cry
as she was horrified.

Mrs Wickerby still cried as she
missed her beloved friend he
was scared of her from that day
as she was there every day

Here is the story of Miller's End
the woman who lost her beloved friend
poor old Billy on that frosty night
Mrs Wickerby now gives him a fright

The frost covered Miller's end
the same day she lost a friend.
Miss Wickerby was her name
to this day she is still put to shame.

When she tries to call his name
every time she seems to proclaim,
the resurrection of Billy James
the chilly river was to blame.

Poor old Billy was left to die
Miss Wickerby would do nothing to die
all the people passing by
would wonder why she would lie.

Every afternoon at four,
she will open up the garden door
trying to remember the poor garden boy
thinking about the place before.

When the boys moved in
both called Tim and Jim
they knew nothing about him.

They did not know
that the garden boy froze
oh-so long ago
by somebody old.
