TALK ABOUT IT
- What is one way you can show acceptance at school?
- Has anyone made you feel accepted?
- Think about someone that is different from you. How are their differences special?
- Would the world be a boring place if everyone was the same.
TRY IT OUT
Here are some suggestions for Arrowhead kids to show acceptance.
- Think before you speak. Always be kind!
- Don’t use mean words to describe another person.
- Ask others if they need help.
- Imagine what words make others feel good inside.
- Always believe we are all unique in our own way.

Mr. Connolly has been teaching P.E. for 25 years! He loves teaching P.E.! The sport that he likes teaching the most is balloon volleyball for students in grades K-2 and dune ball for kids in grades 4-6. He said that he loves sports and working with kids. Mr. Connolly said that P.E. is one of the things he’s most passionate about. The sports he played when he was young were baseball and hockey. He loves sports! Some sports that he played when he was younger that he teaches students are volleyball and dune ball. He said the job he wanted to be if he didn’t become a P.E. teacher was an athletic trainer. His idol as a kid was his dad, since his dad supported him in life and taught him about the importance of working hard. Mr. Connolly’s sports idol is Keith Hernandez who played baseball for the New York Mets. Mr. Connolly is a cool guy because he has taught so many kids fun sports. He is an amazing P.E. teacher!Loading...
