The Very Hungry Children

The children were not hungry anymore -  they knew where to find food and how to prepare healthy snacks for themselves.  

Butterfly, butterfly, fly away. Come back another day.

On Monday they ate one coconut.  But they were still hungry.

On Saturday they ate one piece of crispbread, seventeen pots of cress, one lemon,

On Friday they ate five apples, but they were still hungry.

On Wednesday they ate three mangos, but they were still hungry.

one hundred lunchboxes of dried fruit and they drank one nice cup of Rooibos tea.😅

They pulled up their sleeves and washed their hands - ready to cook up a storm!

In the light of the moon drifted a big pirate ship with all the „Rheinpiraten“.

One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and - tada! - Land was in sight! The pirate ship set ashore and off jumped seventeen very hungry children with their food dehydrator.

They were still hungry and decided to drink five colourful Smoothies.

The next day was Sunday again.  They set the table, ate through one nice green leaf, cleaned up, and after that - they felt much better.  

Soon it will be summer!  The „Rheinpiraten“ ship will then set sail to a local farm where we will learn more about where our food come from.  In the mean time we did a few virtual tours.

They started to look for some healthy fruit and vegetables. 

“All aboard!”, called the captain. Seventeen beautiful butterflies flew on board and off they sailed into the sunset.

On Thursday they ate four oranges, but they were still hungry.
