Christopher Columbus isn’t his actual name, technically its the anglicized version of this Italian name Cristoforo Colombo. He was born in Genoa, a port city in the northwest Italy in 1451. This will be structured like his journal, though much less detailed since his journal was actually very detailed and had lots of information inside of it.

FYI, the story starts after this, also this is a journal from his perspective, so there may be inaccuracies.
Over the course of a month at sea, the crew grew restless, and some questioned whether we would ever reach our destination. Despite this, I remained confident, which I may regret as this could go horribly wrong.

On October 12, 1492, after several weeks at sea, we at last glimpsed land. We've arrived in India at last! We visited neighbouring islands, made friends with the locals, and faced difficulties including food shortages and armed wars. We used some of them to wager on fighting rats.

Although we saw both friendly and hostile native communities, I am optimistic that we may forge peaceful trading links with them. Despite these difficulties, I think our trip has been a fantastic success. We have found a brand-new planet that will alter the trajectory of human history irrevocably.

Now, on January 15th, 1493, as we prepare to return to Spain, I am proud of what we have accomplished and excited for the future. We have opened up a new chapter of exploration and discovery.
