The Journal Of Robert Ambler

April 8th 1577. Hello, it’s been awhile. We have been traveling for a while now. We landed at a very frozen coast a while ago. The captain said that it was a top secret mission but all I could see was ice and snow. I don&apos;t know what the king was thinking and I’m not sure what could be the point. I’m not actually sure how we arrived at a snowy place because we were sailing straight. At least that’s what my compass said so it could have been broken.

Currently we are on smoother waters so the captain let some of us have some longer brakes. We stopped at a beautiful tropical island and I got to put my toes in the sand and relax for a few seconds but then captain Drake ushered us into the hills. We were assigned to raid a Spanish camp. It went quite smoothly and we were successful in our raid.

Honestly I’m quite nervous for this journey because we are raiding Spanish ships. Sadly in Voyage I’m a lookout scout so it’s my job to well lookout! oh wow I think we’re taking off! I pray that everything will go smoothly and I wont get sea sick this time! I have To go but I’ll write as soon as I have time!

Today we set off from Plymouth alongside our sister ships: Marigold, Pelican, Elizabeth, Swan and Christopher.

January 20th 1577. It’s been an entire month since I last wrote. It’s been extremely busy on board and the only things I’ve been able to do is work and sleep. Most times we don&apos;t even have time to eat.
