The Southern Colony

Farmers needed lots of helpers. They use slaves to help them. Slavery used to be illegal but eventually a law was passed that slavery is legal. 

People made crops in the middle colonies to make money.  plantations are a common thing they use. Shipping is perfect in the south. You can also get rich by chopping wood. 

People made the southern colonies for many reasons. They made the southern colonies because they wanted a safe place for Catholics. It also was a buffer for Spanish troops from Florida.

There is amazing land in the Southern Colonies. Unlike The Northern Colonies curvy roads. We have flat lands. We have open areas for farming, Get oceans for shipping and lots of trees.
