Blue whale is known to be the largest animal to have ever lived . They are found in all oceans except the Arctic. Blue whale was driven to the brink of extinction by commercial whaling in the 1800s and early 1900s. These species must be conserved using reduction of vessel strikes and ocean notes , overseeing marine mammal health and stranding response ,clearing of litter etc

The Ganges river dolphin was officially discovered in 1801. Ganges river dolphins once lived in the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna and Karnaphuli-Sangu river systems of Nepal, India, and Bangladesh. But the species is extinct from most of its early distribution ranges.

The lynx (Lynx lynx) is a medium-sized wild cat that is recognizable by its short-tailed ruff and furry ears with black tufts on the tips. Adult lynxes can range in body length from 70 to 130 cm and weigh from 18 to 30 kg, with females typically being smaller than males. Lynxes are adapted for living in forested environments where they hunt their prey, such as roe deer, red deer, wild boars, hares, and smaller animals like rodents and birds. In Slovenia, there is a population of lynxes that is severely endangered due to hunting, habitat destruction, and traffic accidents. The lynx is listed as critically endangered on the Red List of Endangered Species of Slovenia, meaning that it is facing extinction. Various measures are being taken in Slovenia to protect lynxes and their habitats, including the establishment of green corridors, the construction of safe crossings over roads, and monitoring and studying lynx populations.
