Alex’s Book Of Art

For this activity I got to draw an emoji(I picked the mouthless emoji), while incorporating the skills I used for my “Lines and Pressure” assignment. I used the smudge tool to get my blending as close to the emoji as possible, which I think I did really well. I also used the ruler tool to get perfect circles, for the face shape and eyes! I had fun making my emoji, and got better at using the ruler tool!

For my bubble letter drawing, I experimented with lines and pressure. I used different tools in sketches pro to create different lines and pressures. The different pressures helped me shade, which made my bubble letters pop. I enjoyed making my name in bubble letters, because it helped elevate my art skills, and get more familiar with the different tools.

My logo project was like a combination of all the skills I have learned, with a nice touch of creativity. I decided to make a pickling brand(because I love pickled things), and I had so much fun coming up with the logo for it. I used the ruler, the colour-fill, and the fine pen tool to make my drawing, and I am so happy with how it came out!

I got to use my lights and shadows skills when I made my robot! I wanted a 3D robot, so I had to add shadows and “light points” to achieve that. Wherever I put a “light point”, I had to put a shadow behind it. I think my robot turned out really good, and it wouldn’t have been this good without my new skill.

I’m a highschool student, who is currently enrolled in a PLP program. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities, and learning about them. I have a really big interest in nature and the environment. I enjoy the art component of PLP, and have lots of fun learning new way to draw on my iPad. This is a collection of the artwork I have made, I hope you enjoyed.
