Rudolph is Missing

     Next, Jamal went to a toy shop called Toys From Santa. Jamal looked around for a bit.  Then he thought he saw him in the far end of the store. Jamal was sure this was Rudolph.   The object was as red as Santa's pants. Was that Rudolph? No it was just a blinking light.  Jamal had been fooled again. Where could Rudolph be?

   Crunch,  crunch Santa's footsteps echoed through Santa Claus Village.  Santa was heading for the red barn to feed the reindeer veggie sticks.  He notices that one veggie stick is left over.  He starts shouting everyone's name, but when he called Rudolph, no one answered. He calls for Jamal the Elf.  In a jiffy the elf was running around the village.  He wondered where Rudolph could be?

     Then, Jamal started out toward a village called Jolly Pants. At first, Jamal was sure he saw Rudolph in the middle of a crowd. As Jamal tried to push through the crowd he caught a glimpse of Rudolph's red nose. Was that Rudolph? No Jamal had been fooled. It was just a statue of Rudolph in town. Where could Rudolph be?

       Lastly, Jamal walked out of the store and started looking for Rudolph again. Jamal thought he saw Rudolph in the distance. When he got there he looked where he thought Rudolph was, but it was just a big pot of poinsettias. He sat down and started crying. Then he heard a soft voice say, ''Why are you crying?"   Jamal looked up and saw Rudolph standing there. ''My golly," said Jamal. I've finally found you.

            At first, Jamal thought he saw Rudolph moving around in the forest. Jamal raced toward the the forest where he thought Rudolph was. Is that Rudolph? No Jamal was deceived!  It was just a red bird fluttering around on the blinking Christmas tree in the forest.  Where could Rudolph be?

    Last but not least, Jamal and Rudolph headed back to Santa. He couldn't believe he had fallen asleep reading a book. Quickly, Rudolph got up and started galloping toward Santa Claus's village. As Rudolph's glowing nose disappeared in the clouds above, Jamal let out a sigh. He had saved Christmas.
