FIRST FEW DAYS OF SCHOOL...

Our first week of school will be primarily focused on getting to know each other and building a classroom community.
I will also be meeting with students one-on-one to informally assess each student. This will help me get an understanding of how your child learns best and create small groups for targeted instruction,so that I can meet everyone's needs.
We will learn how to use digital learning apps and set expectations on how to be a respectful, responsible learner while on Google Meets.
LETS GET SET FOR SUCCESS...
Create a space for your child that is free from distraction and noise. If working in their bedrooms, try to create a work space away from the bed and toys.
Make sure to have all the materials needed for each subject. For example if we are doing math, you should have your math books, dry erase pocket, and marker. If we are writing, you should have a notebook and pencil/pen. All students should have a hard surface to write on.

Headphones may be helpful if there is a lot of background noise. Make sure your Chromebook is charged!
