So, I think you may have understood the structure of a Mercury Thermometer. Now let's see how it works:-The Temperature is measured in Celsius as well as Fahrenheit. Imagine, if a place's temperature is 27*C. When you keep your thermometer out in the open for a while, and come back and look at the scale, the Mercury must be at 27*C. But, how is that possible?
