The Atlantic Puffin
Introduction
Puffins live in the Arctic.For most of the year they live on the open ocean.They are small sea birds.They are 25 cm long.They eat herring,hake,capelin and sand eels.They drink salt water.The Puffin has black and white feathers it has a beak like a hornbill, it has a brightly colored beak and two bright orange webbed feet. They spend most of their lives in the sea.They are really good at diving they are not related to penguins at all.
Adaptations
They have waterproof feathers that allow them to float on the ocean's surface.
They have sharp beaks and claws to make their burrows.
Their feathers allow them to stay warm.
