Student: This book would be great for students that are in Kindergarten or 1st grade. To be more specific a student that is 6 years old with dyslexia. This student has been dealing with race. It is hard for the student to stay on track in the classroom and school. This student has been dealing with race from the world and other students since this student has a different color of skin. And this student and their family come from outside the United States. This book can teach the student that not everyone is not bad. And that many people do not understand different cultures.

ISTE Standards: ISTE-S.1.1.b- Students&nbsp;build networks&nbsp;and&nbsp;customize&nbsp;their&nbsp;learning environments&nbsp;in ways that support the learning process. While creating this book as a student, I was able to learn new skills over a new platform. This platform was able to teach me how to understand all of my students. And how to build a better relationships with all my different students. ISTE-E 2.4.a- Dedicate planning time to collaborate with colleagues to create&nbsp;authentic learning experiences that leverage technology. As a teacher, I think it is a great way to prepare for complications in a classroom when co-teaching. I think that it is good to have backup activities if the first choice does not work. I would use this activity as a backup or an option for my students if they do not understand the text of the book.
