During Hour of Code, kindergarten and first graders did some unplugged coding in an activity using characters from the movie FROZEN. Second and third graders used code.org's web site. Fourth and fifth graders used Google's CSFirst to either "Animate a Name" or "Code Your Hero." What a fabulous week of learning!

Central Elementary School

During Hour of Code, we....

Kindergarten at Central learned about programming their "student robot" by using directional symbols. Later, we practiced what we learned on Kodable in the sequence sector!

3rd and 4th graders followed the CS First curriculum and coded their everyday hero in scratch!

Richmond Elementary School

During Hour of Code, students at RES coded using code.org's hour of code projects, code.org's curriculum, Scratch Jr, and lightbot. The dance party was a huge hit this year!
