Welcome
TO MAGAZINE
This magazine was created from the articles of our students working together on the international eTwinning project Break the Fake.

The task for the students was to write an article that will have an engaging title, but will not contain true information. The students embarked on this task with great joy, so they were able to test themselves that not everything with a nice title has to be true.

Welcome to our magazine Break the Fake, where you will learn, for example, that the goldfish is dying out, the North Pole has melted, the pigeons have attacked world monuments, that we have discovered life on Mars or the cancellation of the summer holidays has happened to us.

This magazines is work of eTwinning partners from Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Germany and Italy.
Enjoy!

In the last few days, the North Pole has been melted due to global warming. It is predicted that some cities close to the coast will be flooded by the water coming from the Atlantic Ocean.
Some of these cities will be: New York, Venice, Lisbon, Bilbao, Miami, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
All the citizens from these cities have been advised of the danger this problem could have and they have been also recommended to leave and move to another city that could be more habitable.
The governments from the affected countries are working on transporting all the food possible to the habitable zones. This could cause the problem with overpopulation and available homes.
In the future, governments will arrive to an agreement. The north of Europe and the east of America are in the constant little wars of surviving.

Video of footage showing an ichthyology scientist explaining everything going on with the life of goldfish COMING SOON.
Ichthyologist Mike Hawk and his team found out that Comet Goldfish, the most common form of goldfish, are becoming increasingly more endangered.
Hawk and his team predict Comet goldfish could go extinct as early as 2030.

The first time Comet Goldfish were considered to becoming an endangered animal was November 2019, when Hawk and his team found out the population of goldfish over the past decade has lowered extremely.

"It is really something you would never expect, one of the most common pets and decorative fish to become extinct. I myself had a goldfish when I was about 9. I believe it is easily possible to stop this, " says Hawk.

Many pet shops across the USA and Canada have already been affected by this, with more than 75% of them not selling Comet goldfish, and the remaining 25% soon to stop selling. This transition is also slowly coming to Europe as of February 2021, with around 10% of pet shops not selling Comet goldfish anymore.
