Benjamin Franklin invented a lot of things like the stone oven, lightning rod, bifocals.In 1752 he did the kite experiment. He wrote the declaration of Independence constitution he made no money. He was born in 1706 and died in 1790. Over 300 years ago he was alive.
Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison was America's greatest inventor. He invented over 1,000 things. Some of the things he invented were the light bulb, recording sound, making movies and phonograph. Born 1847 and died in 1931.
Wright Brothers
In 1903 the Wright Brothers did the first human flight ever it lasted 12 seconds in an airplane that they built named the Wright Flyer. They also ran a bicycle shop and built their own bicycles. 3 years later they flew even longer. Orville was born in 1871 and died in 1948. Wilbur was born in 1867 and died 1912.
Henry Ford
Henry Ford invented the first car in 1896 he called it the quadracycle. The model T was invented in 1908, it went 45 miles per hour but it was most famous. Before that he worked on steam engines. In 1914 the assembly line was made and it went from 12 1/2 hours to make a car to 6 hours today. He was born in 1863 and died in 1947.
