These are strange days the genius has just lost the
humiliating game of his life and it seems like
if something were to end. As if time, finally, had caught up with him, as if that time that seemed not to pass for him
turn around, cheap traitor and catch him.
These are strange days: at times, it seems as if the genius already
was being completed. Not in the Ariel sense: not in the sense of achieving what he lacked, but in recognizing that he was almost there.
done for done and finish it Maybe now when his career
is becoming a walk, we can start looking at the painting in

It was clear in the famous competition
with Diego Armando Maradona two such different games.
Maradona was a precarious concert of tacos, pipes and rabonas. The agonizing gambeta, the trembling victory: the incredible thing to see
Maradona was that he always invented something that seemed ready
of failing because it was impossible or unthinkable and he was about to lose and he stumbled but, at the last moment, he pulled himself together and succeeded.
Maradona
he seemed to play as he lived as he lives on the edge of the abyss.
Everything about him was excessive and fragile Messi was the opposite.
Messi did things the most unlikely things as if they were the easiest thing in the world: as if to say that anyone could
do it. It was the incredible strength of him that he would say literally
what he wanted– and it was, at the same time, his weakness he did not finish convincing us that they were geniuses; they looked silly
It was enough to see Maradona to know that what he was doing was heroic
extraordinary It was enough to see Messi to believe that what he did
It was sensible, everyday.
With an intense search involving dozens of talks and interviews; with an agile prose, that circulates it at a touch with passages that tell you what you did not know, that
they explain what you didn't understand, Messi the incomplete genius is a journey through the reasons for that incompleteness why a genius did not achieve what many others much less brilliant, achieved
And it is, after all the portrait of a boy who suffered more than necessary Maybe because he suffered as he suffered
he got to be him who he was he: because he couldn't bear the suffering of
lose and, then, to suffer a little less, he must have been much
More than everyone. But in the end, he didn't get it.
