What my Mind Speaks!

I think bottled water should not be banned because bottled water is very convenient, also because people will drink more sugary juices and sodas if it gets banned, and last because plastic bottles are not the only thing packaged in plastic so why not ban other products that use plastic too?

Quick Drink

If you are in a hurry then you can just grab a bottle and go. For example, might be late to wherever you are going if you get a reusable water bottle and fill it up from the tap. Bottled water is very convenient. Also, the cost of a reusable bottle would be enough money to buy a pack of bottled water. Reusable bottles are way too much money. It is much easier to just grab a bottle of water.

More Sugar

Compared to Gatorade or Snapple, water is a more healthy option so you should drink at least some water even if it's in a plastic bottle. People might drink more sugary juices and sodas if bottled water gets banned. Sodas and juices have more added sugar when the water has no sugar at all. If people don't drink more sugary drinks they might not even drink any water at all. Bellanett, a student from SNIS and also an expert researcher in pollution, said, “Bottled water should be banned because it is causing pollution all over the US.” That might be true but Americans can help that number of pollution go down by recycling and helping pick up trash and plastic that might be on the ground.

Plastic Packaging

Toys, foods, juices, and a lot of other products are packaged in plastic. For example, water is a lot more healthy for you than juices, and there are juices packaged in plastic! It should be the juices that get banned. Plastic bottles are not the only thing packaged in plastic so why not ban other products that use plastic too? At least you get water from the plastic bottles. Some people may argue that the plastic from the bottles fills up landfills too, not only bottled water. I challenge this because there are many plastic bottles that get recycled too. Especially other juices, water is more healthy for you so it should be the juices that get banned. At least you get water from the plastic bottles.

Conclusion

I think that bottled water should not be banned because bottled water is very convenient, also because people will drink more sugary juices and sodas if it gets banned, and last because plastic bottles are not the only thing packaged in plastic so why not ban other products that use plastic too? Water is very important for your body. You can die if you don't have enough water. So bottled water just helps people get at least some water to drink, and you can do it fast.
