1% : 54$ divided by 100 : 0.54$
15% : 0.54 x 15 = 8.1$
54 - 8.1$ = 45.9$
He had to pay 45.9$ for the groceries.
Day 2
Mr Jimmy buys sushi at the mall. It costed 102.5$ without GST. The GST is 5%
How much did Mr Jimmy have to pay?
100% : 102.5
1% 102.5 divided by 100
= 1.025$
5% : 1.025 x 5 = 5.125$
102.5 + 5.125 = 107.625$
