Our Solar System
Our solar system is an amazing place! It's where we live, and it's full of fascinating planets, stars, and other objects. At the very center of our solar system is a big, bright star called the Sun. The Sun is important because it gives us light and warmth, and all the planets in our solar system orbit around it. That means they go around and around the Sun in big circles. We're like little passengers on a giant cosmic merry-go-round!
There are eight planets in our solar system, and they come in all different sizes and colours. The closest planet to the Sun is Mercury, then comes Venus, Earth (that's where we live!), and Mars.
These are called the inner planets. Further out, there are the gas giants: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These planets are much bigger than the inner ones and are made mostly of gas. Each planet has its own unique features and mysteries waiting to be discovered!
Our solar system is a vast place, stretching out for billions and billions of miles. But even though it's huge, it's still just a tiny part of something even bigger called the Milky Way galaxy. Imagine our solar system as a small speck in a gigantic cosmic ocean! So, when you look up at the sky and see the stars twinkling, remember that each one is a part of something as incredible as our solar system.

Bruuhhhh - it's a bit cold here!

Amazing Space Facts
Mars Rovers: Robots called rovers have explored Mars. They take pictures and send them back to Earth so scientists can learn more about the Red Planet.

The Sun is Huge: The Sun is so big that you could fit more than a million Earths inside it!
The Milky Way: Our solar system is part of a huge galaxy called the Milky Way. It's like a big city in space, filled with stars, planets, and other stuff!
