CHARACTER ANALYSIS ESPERANZA Esperanza is a young girl with a Mexican girl with mexican parents she is happy and lives well in the beginning of the story but when her papa dies she goes down hill and gets super glommy and sad when mama gets sick she is super sad and comforting to mama but when mama gets better and Abuelta comes she is happy and feels much better. MIGUEL Miguel is a servant and is good friends with Esperanza. Esperanza is Miguel fiends. Miguel is kind and caring. When they california he is super sympathetic to Esperanza when her mama gets sick.
