České Petrovice is small village in Eastern Bohemia. It belongs to the district of Ústí nad Orlicí in the Pardubice region. It has 162 inhabitans. The first information about the village comes from the 16th century. The first settlers were lumberjacks. Through České Petrovice, tourist routes lead, for example, to the Zemská brána or to the Pastvinská dam. In České Petrovice there is the Adam hill which is 765 meters high. On the hill is the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. There is also a military garrison.
