“Oh damn!” shouted Eve, “I spilled all my popcorn.”
“Eve, you’re such a scaredy cat.” I replied.
“Sorry, but that clown just came out of nowhere,” said Eve.
“Well, stop watching the movie then,” I told her.
Why were we even watching this movie? It was so scary, and what makes it even scarier was that Mum wasn’t here. Why did I let Eve choose this movie? She always chooses the movies with killer clowns in them. Tonight we were watching clowns in the basement.
“This movie is way too scary. I am going to bed, see you in the morning,” I said.
The next morning we got up and went down the hill through the paddocks and through lots of cow pat. The farm looked different. It had an airy sort of fog looming in. The trees swayed and the wind whistled past our faces as though trying to tell us something.
We continued on until we got to the big old oak tree. Our legs were aching. I couldn’t take another step. My heart was racing, I was panicking I really wanted to find Mum. I was about to give up when I hear a sort of rustling sound coming from behind the bushes. I paid no attention to it, but then the sound changed. It started to sound like a chainsaw. I wanted to know what it was, behind that bush.

I walked closer and closer and I was just about to touch the bushes when Eve stopped me.
“ Wait” she said, “remember what the movie told us we should do.”
I immediately knew what she meant. In the movie we watched last night one of the clowns were in an old lady's basement, but the old lady wasn’t stupid, no, she was a brainy old lady. She had watched lots of movies about killer clowns. What she did, was this. She went up to the basement and yelled “ PIZZA!!!”The clown froze and the old lady grabbed the clowns chainsaw and decapitated him.
I cleared my throat and got ready to scream. “PIZ-” but I was interrupted by a scary figure appearing from behind the bushes.
“ Did someone say pizza?” said a taunting voice.
Standing in front of me was an old man. He had blood coming out from his eyes and he had vampire teeth. He was wearing a black and blue top, with a picture of a knife on it. It was shredded and was tearing. He had big gushes of blood coming from his mouth and when he talked, it sprayed everywhere. But what made all this worse was that he was, carrying a chainsaw.
I almost fainted at the sight of him. I had no idea what to do. Should I run, or should I be polite and say hi? I decided to run but Eve stopped me.
“Hello” said Eve.

“Have you seen our Mum?” she asked. “She has long brown hair, blue eyes and lots of pimples on her face.”

It was about dinner time when we got to a big corn maze.
“ She’s in there” the old man said
“ Thanks Mr um… what is your name?” asked Eve.
“Mr BUTCHER!”
“ AAAAAHHHHH!!” we screamed as Mr Butcher chased us into the maze. When we thought we lost him we stopped. We were definitely lost so we decided to find our way out but ended up in complete darkness. I was feeling my way around the maze and found a little button. I pushed it and all the lights turned back on.
I looked around,I was just about to call for Eve when something stopped me. Someone had grabbed me and put something in my mouth. I think it might have been a rag or and old top. He was taking me somewhere, somewhere through the maze.
We stopped and I looked around and standing there right in front of me was a scarecrow but it was no ordinary scarecrow, it was a human scarecrow.
OH NO! It was my mum. She had blood all over her body and and a pole sticking out from behind her head. She had big bulging eyeballs and her legs were tied to the pole. “ Why is she here?” I asked, sounding very concerned.
“ Oh I just saw her walking home last night and decided to give her a little STAB IN THE BACK!!” he replied sounding more nastier than ever, now.

I ran but then found myself facing some very vicious creatures. But then I recognised them. They were the characters from the movie Eve and I watched last night. I speedly dodged them, well I thought I did but then everything went black...
