Autumn 1 2023 - Week 2Head of School's Welcome
Dear families
It has been wonderful to welcome the children and staff back to school this week and last. Many of them have come running, hopping and skipping through the gates to see their friends and meet their new teachers. Our attendance figures have even been significantly above the national average - amazing! The children have settled really well into their new classes and already been making amazing progress in their new exercise books.
We have packed this week's newsletter full of pictures of the learning that has been taking place. We also loved having you on site to meet your child(ren)'s new class teachers this week. We're looking forward to inviting parent/carers on site again on Friday 29th September for a reading morning (please see the poster on a later page). This will be chance to read with your child in their classroom, look at their learning in books so far this year and see the classrooms and displays. There'll be refreshments for parents in the Old Hall after the event.
I hope everyone has a really lovely rest this weekend after a busy week.
Best wishes
