Autumn 2 2023 - Week 3Head of School's Welcome
Dear families
Happy Friday! We've really enjoyed anti-bullying week this week. All classes have taken part in some vital life-long learning about the definition of bullying, how to identify it and call it out. The anti-bullying alliance defines bullying as 'The repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. Bullying can be physical, verbal or psychological. It can happen face-to-face or online'. Their website has lots of great resources and videos to explore: Our definition of bullying (anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk)
The children have made booklets, posters and had in depth class discussions. We've been relating the topic of our values. Have a look at the pictures later on the in the newsletter.
Reminder that next week we have an INSET day on Friday 24th November and there will be no school or breakfast club on this day. This is for essential staff training.
Have a lovely weekend!

Strategic Partner Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the arrangements for Mrs Drury's maternity cover. We have been carefully planning this transition for a while, but we unfortunately we were not in a position to share the details with you until now.
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Mr. Rees as the Head of School during Mrs Drury's maternity leave. Mr. Rees is a very experienced leader within Aspire who has a very successful track record of school improvement and working with schools in different positions. He is really keen now to join Tregolls - he can’t wait to get started!
Mr Rees has already met with the leadership team and visited the school and will continue to do so now on a regular basis until he officially starts. He will be in touch with you soon to introduce himself in more detail.
Please rest assured that we will now strive to ensure that the transition is strong and that the pace of improvement does not slow at all for the school and your children.
We also want to wish all the very best to Mrs Drury.
We will be in touch again soon.
Thank you for your support.
