The choir have been gearing up for 'Spooky Season' recently by performing their song 'Creepy Castle' in singing assemblies! Well done, everyone. We are loving your confidence.

Community News - 500 Words Competition

Do you fancy yourself as an author? Would you like the chance to win some prizes? The BBC's 500 Words competition is back and it would be fantastic if some Tregolls children entered. The competition is all about children having fun writing stories, being creative and making people laugh, cry or just be blown away by what they are reading. There are very few rules on 500 Words but here a few points to remember. Curriculum News - Kenwyn Class

In Kenwyn Class this week, we have been making flapjacks and thinking about the number 'one'. We used only one spoonful of each ingredient. Great baking, Kenwyn Class!

Dear families Welcome back to school for the Autumn 2 term! It has been lovely to welcome all of the children back to class this week. A start of a term marks the change of topics and next steps in learning. Next week we have our parents' evenings, please do sign up via Arbor to make an appointment with the class teacher. During the appointment you will be able to look at books in the classroom, talk about your child's learning and hear about their next steps and targets. You will also be able to find lots more information about your children's current, past and upcoming learning on our website. Thank you for your patience and understanding during the storm yesterday. Delaying our opening opening time was a difficult decision, as we want children to be in school as much as possible, but it was important to prioritise safety. Finally, thank you to those who completed our online parent survey. We really appreciate your feedback and look forward to sharing our actions in an upcoming additional newsletter that will share. Curriculum News - Outdoor Learning

This week, Fal Class enjoyed their session of Skol Las on Monday, creating their picture frames from sticks by using all of the skills we have practised so far - well done, everyone! Some children from Kenwyn Class spent their first Skol Las session of the year exploring our school grounds and doing an autumnal colour nature hunt today. There were lots of things to find after Storm Ciarán yesterday! What a lovely end to the week. Mr Hancock

We are setting up a pre-loved uniform shop! If you have any uniform that is no longer needed and are willing to donate it to us, it can be dropped off to our box in Reception. If you are looking for uniform, please email friendsoftregolls@gmail.com with what you are looking for (item, size, etc) and we can check our supplies. Items available for a small charge, with all the money going back to the school and the children.
