-Within synchronous information technology, it allows both parties to communicate in real time. Synchronous communication is an approach that is personable, and interactive.

-The ability to be present amongst your coworkers allows a faster reply rate where questions and concerns can be addressed right away. This is beneficial in a work setting so that employees meet the goals and needs of their group.
- Projects and discussions are most beneficial in a real time setting, as they give more collaborative insight amongst the team members.

-Popular apps like Zoom, and Skype are a great representation of information technology that is being used in a work setting. These apps are designed to create high levels of digital communication amongst team members. With the ability to join a meeting with a simple code allows groups to collaborate from any location across the globe.
-Features like screen sharing, recording and group message chatting are all features that are used throughout these apps to allow a meeting to go seamlessly.

-Asynchronous is a more fluid approach that relies on predominantly one's self time management. It creates an environment where there is less interruptions to get sidetracked.
