TOOL #1 | Simplify : How to use?

1. Open a webpage or digital text doc :

2. Select the 'Simplify' icon in the toolbar

TOOL #1 | Simplify : Reflection

FOCUS:
Allows learners to eliminate distractions and superfluous information on a webpage in order to focus on relevant text information

EFFICIENCY:
Easier to copy and paste text directly from a website without re-formatting manually

ACCESSIBILITY:
Various formatting options to change the text view for improved accessibility (e.g. learners who struggle with bright white screen backgrounds)

TOOL #2 | Text to Speech : How to use?

1. Open a webpage or digital text doc :

2. Select the desired text to read

3. Select the 'Play' icon in the toolbar
*Highlighted text will be read aloud

*To pause reading, click the 'Pause' icon (or 'stop' icon to stop completely) :

3. Highlight the word you would like to define
