Judicial review is the power of a court to review an administrative action by a public body and secure a declaration, order, or award. Second, due to its power of judicial review, the courts play an essential role in ensuring that each branch of government recognizes the limits of its own power. Third, it protects civil rights and liberties by striking down laws that violate the Constitution.
The goal of federalism was to divide the power between the central government and state governments. To help keep this division, the Constitution created different branches of government. The importance of federalism was to make sure that what happened with the English King did not happen in America.
Originally, The Articles Of Confederation (AOC) was created which gave states basically all the power and federal government very very little. After a while the Founding Fathers realized it was not working and split the power where states got some power and federal government got some as well.

America is a country of justice. There are a total of twenty seven amendments, but three of those amendments are connected to “The Rights of the Accused”. The Fifth Amendment which guarantees american citizens the right to remain silent. The Sixth Amendment which gives american citizens the right to a fair and speedy trial. The Fourth Amendment, which gives an american citizen the right to refuse a search without a warranty. The courts say in law help americans speak up on unfair laws.
The historical significance of the sixth amendment is that the founding fathers did not want people to be in prison for months. It also helps with making the inmates able to have people defend them. This all shows why the founding fathers wanted this law to be in place today.
The 4th amendment was added to the United States Constitution in 1791. It was created to protect people from unreasonable searches and seizures by the government. It establishes that people have the right to be secure in their person, houses, papers, and effects, and that no warrants can be issued without probable cause. It could also help people so there house would not get searched without a warrant.
The 5th amendment was added to the United States Constitution in 1791. It was created to protect the rights of citizens and ensure that they would not be forced to incriminate themselves in a criminal trial. It also established the right to a grand jury, double jeopardy protection, and due process laws.
