Hello to everyone, new or older participants in this beautiful Cultures on a Palette project !
It’s the third and the last year of our project which was initially supposed to end in 2021... but we know why it was necessary to prolong it: "little" covid was there again! We all know it impacts our lives and school lives a lot, and of course our project too. Let's cross fingers for the situation to be good enough in spring so we can travel!
This month of November 2021, we did virtual meetings all together.
We communicated and worked on a virtual video conferencing platform for four mornings in the week, from November 22nd to 25th.
Although we didn't meet in real life - and were sometimes frustrated because of technical problems (we all know what effect connexion problems can have on one's nerves!) - we got to know each others better thanks to several activities that allowed us to really interact. This was a great experience.

Action!
Well, um... who are you?
New topic about our cultures
During this week, some activities allowed us to "break the ice" like looking for info about our partners in short introduction videos or playing "the wheel of questions" in smaller groups.
We really liked them and had fun... although we all wished we had more time to spend on them, but... our teachers insisted that there was some work to do!

In Greece and Spain, we explored two aspects of our cultures : natural heritage and tangible heritage.
The activities in France are around the topic of "important people", so we started by presenting people from our countries who are famous because they left their mark in our cultures: writers, singers, scientists, philosophers, politicians, artists... and many more! This was really interesting!

About the right to culture
Working together
We continued thinking about some aspects of cultural diversity: two articles (5 and 6 precisely) of the Unesco text "All Different, All Unique", were presented by some French students.
Afterwards we split into smaller groups which had different tasks and productions to do, like the magazine, the cultural map, the online games, the cultural calendar or the compendium. These productions are continued and developped on each mobility with a new aspect each time.

Country boxes opening
This activity was really fun! The French partners had sent each partner a box with various objects or documents linked to French heritage.
During the virtual mobility, a class of French students proposed a guessing game: the partners had to find a precise object in the box after listening to their riddles . Trying to be the first to find the object was really fun!
