How the Elephant got its long trunk

When the sun rose on the first night of the world, here were four animals sleeping under the glistening sun. Here they were living in a place called…India. The next morning, an elephant trotted over to get his breakfast which were juicy, red berries. Minutes later, the elephant had come back to his home. He was very excited for the next day to come because he was able to see his friends (the ox, giraffe and monkey).

The next following morning, his best friends had arrived. The ox was wise, old and was always right, the giraffe, who was young, responsible and careful, always loved to have fun but never too much. Last but not least the monkey, who was playful, cheeky and loved playing tricks on the other animals.

A few moments later, the elephant had a prank coming his way he doesn’t know it but he has.
The next few moments, the monkey was the one who wanted to do a prank on the elephant so the monkey kept swinging and swinging on the elephant’s ears, until he landed on the elephant’s nose and tried to get down but his nose stretched and stretched until it became a long trunk.

“Bahahaha pranked you!” shouted the monkey not realising that the elephant was hurt.

“I don’t think you should have gone to far monkey he is hurt!” said the giraffe.

“She is right for once, you shouldn’t play on other animals and play games on them either! his You’ve just stretched nose and now it’s a long trunk!” said the ox furiously.

As the morning passed, the elephant had started to his long trunk and found out it was quite useful.
“Monkey I love this new trunk it is very useful. I can use it for giving myself a bath or reach leaves from high trees” Says the elephant.

“Well that’s good. I didn’t mean to make you upset.” replied the monkey.” I’m sorry!”
“it’s okay.”

If you see an elephant you will know this is how it got its long trunk.
