Do you like a nice clam, healthily area to live in or maybe just to visit? Well Vermont is a nice place to visit if your that type of person. Vermont is a natural place its also calm, healthy and beautiful place to live in.
History
Vermont has an interesting past. Do you know what Vermont was named? Vermonts was first known as “the Republic of New Connecticut” for the first six months. On June 2, 1777 the name changed from “the Republic of New Connecticut” to Vermont. Vermont is actually made up by two French words. The word “Ver” mean green and the word “mont” means mountains. Which is another reason why Vermont is also known as Green Mountains.
Attractions
Vermont has many attractions, One of the big attractions of Vermont is the nice, huge landscape. The landscape is about 24,905 km long. Another attractions of Vermont if Manchester. Manchester is a town in Vermont. It is the most popular town and also considered an attraction for the Green State.
Geography
Vermont also known as The Green Mountain state is located east of New York, West of New Hampshire, north of Massachusetts and lastly south of Canada. In the Western cost there is Lake Champlain. Lake Champlain became the nation's sixth Great Lake on March 6, 1998. Lake Champlain is in between New York and Vermont. Lake Champlain is one of Vermont’s best known lakes.
