Comic Panel 1
We record most of the sound effects we use ourselves, often using a completely different object! In this radio play Father Christmas' sleigh running along the snowy ground was actually a piece of paper sliding across a table.
Comic Panel 2
If one sound effect isn't quite right, try layering it up with another one. We walked on cornflakes then squashed cornflour in a sock to make footsteps through the snow. On their own they aren't quite enough together they sound great!

We upload our finished podcasts to a free website called Mixcloud.com, this means we do not need to use lots of space to store them on our own website.
