Show and share a shelfie: Yoa are probably share photographs Via your mobile. Transferring photos (or other files) between smartphones can be tricky as it depends on what models and types of smartphones you are using. In this activity, you are going to share your shelfie pictures. The catch is that these shelfies may only be shown and shared electronically. Scanning Gallery: In this activity, you will need to download a QR code reader, wander around a gallery of scan-able codes that have been posted around the venue, and answer questions based on what you have found on the codes. Shades of opinion: The impact of connectivity and mobiles on a library is a contentious topic. You will have the opportunity to make your difference of opinion about mobile devices, Wi-Fi, digital reading resources etc and their place among among librarians and patrons. Personal Learning Network: You can take charge of your own learning when you are able to connect to expertise and information. Your mobile device offers you opportunities to access both. Mobile love letters: You are going to be asked to write a “love letter” to an app, information service or mobile device. This letter will either profess your love for, or desire to break up with, this app, service or phone. This activity is intended to prompt you to reflect on the place that technology occupies in your life and consider its impact, both positive and negative. Uber Librarian: You are going to be given an “App pack”, a set of app cards, each of which have the icon of a popular app.&nbsp;Your team will examine these apps and create an “uber” list of apps that a mliterate librarian should have on their phone. Library Persona:Personas offer an opportunity to gain a deeper insight into our user. Their particular needs with mobiles differ because of age, circumstances, and motivations. You will be introduced to four library personas, attempt to understand their backstory and distil the unique needs of a particular audience in a library. M Bingo: You will receive a grid of phone-related challenges on a bingo card. The goal of the game is to have the challenges in a row completed and witnessed on your card. Reading Listicle: A listicle is a word that combines the terms list and article together. It is an article written in the form of a list. Listicles are intended to fascinate, provoke curiosity and get you to read their content. You are going to be given 21 heading templates for a listicle. These headings usually contain a combination of a number, a person, place or thing (noun), an audience and an action. combine the two into a catchy title. Invent a story: This activity is an open ended activity. As a group, you will be shown a random animal picture that has been taken from one&nbsp; of the social publishing stories. One of you will use the set of leading questions in conjunction with the picture and use the&nbsp; leading questions below to "invent" a story. Community of Practice: You are going to be invited to join a mliteracy Community of practice (COP). This is a group of librarians who share an interest or a passion in mobile devices and their role in libraries. In the first meeting of the COP, you will be asked to present your project. Let’s Pretend: It is easy to assume that everyone on their mobile phones has got similar levels of skills and are equally equipped. You are going to&nbsp; work in pairs.
