This is an exciting event for all involved. Please meet us at Lister Playing Fields for your child’s time slot. There will be a member of staff on the field, who will direct you to the spectator area.

Pupils need to wear appropriate sports clothing and footwear (trainers), to school on the day, including their house colour t-shirt. They should also bring a water bottle, a sun hat and apply sunscreen before the school day.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

FUN AT THE FAIR

Today at our Orwell site, we all enjoyed our Summer Fair! From wetting the teacher, to jumping around on the bouncy castle and meeting our favourite Superheroes. Thanks to our Year 1, 2, 4 and 5 pupils for organising and running many fun activities. All money raised will go towards School Council enrichment activities.

We look forward to seeing many of you at our Churston Avenue Summer Fair on Monday 4th July from 1pm.
Nursery Graduation
On Thursday we had our Nursery Graduation. Our youngest children graduated from both of our Nurseries ready for full-time education in Reception.
Each child was presented with a certificate and had the opportunity to take lots of pictures in our photo booth.
They have worked so hard over the last two years, we are so proud of their resilience and progress.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers that attended and to our nursery staff who did a fantastic job ensuring that the celebration was a success.
We wish all the children lots of luck for the future!
Debate Mate
Our amazing debaters this year have finally come to the end of their programme. They have had a spectacular year of achievements.
At the beginning of the year, during their first debating experiences, our pupils did exceptionally well. Pupils earned their position on the top leaderboard for the Urban Debate League.
Then, they debated live on stage in front of hundreds of children and adults from other schools in the Debate Mate Cup and came in 2nd place.
Finally, they took on the Deloitte Futures Month challenge, coming in 2nd place in the primary school division.
What an amazing achievement this year has been for these brave year 6 debaters! They will soon be showcasing their skills to our year 5 children to inspire the next year of debate.
HAF camp at Hallsville Primary School
We are pleased to announce that a local Newham Primary School will be running a HAF camp. This will be based at Hallsville Primary School over the summer.

The camp is only open to children who are eligible for Free School Meals or are classed as vulnerable and go to school within Newham.

The Camp is running from;
25th July – 25th August (Mon-Thurs each week)
9am-3pm daily
Achievement Evening
We are very excited to announce that on 7th July from 3.30pm - 6.30pm, we will be hosting an Achievement Evening on both of our sites.

This will be an opportunity for you to celebrate the work that your child has completed this academic year, a chance to meet your child’s new teacher and see their new classroom. You will also be able to hear about the learning experiences your child will embark upon.

We look forward to seeing you there.
