The Snow Queen Panto
The Hobgoblin Theatre Company came to Upton Cross on Wednesday and Thursday this week to showcase their performance of 'The Snow Queen'. All the pupils had the chance to sit and watch the performance and what a delight it was! The children really enjoyed watching the show and had a great time.
Christmas Raffle
We had an exciting assembly as we had our Christmas raffle giveaway!

The prizes included gift vouchers donated by a number of local businesses such as the Emirates Cable Car, Urban Chocolatier and Laser Tag to name a few.

We had several excited children who won a variety of gifts such as: a hamper with a selection of gifts such as a football, beauty sets and West Ham United gift sets…one lucky child won a television.

Remember to buy a raffle ticket at our next school event, you never know what you may win!
House of Commons
It’s payday from the House of Commons

On Thursday this week, four Year 6 children who attended a recent working trip to the House of Commons received an unexpected perk… a gift box containing £25 for their hard work!

Alongside this fantastic bonus, Mrs Wells received a glowing report back from the organiser of the event who stated: “The children were an absolute credit to Upton Cross Primary School.  On more than one occasion, an MP commented to me how engaged, confident and interested they were and asking questions.”

Well done team, and enjoy your well-earned payday.
