Queen's Jubilee
Next week, as a school, we are learning all about: the Queen, her life, reign and the Commonwealth countries in preparation for her Jubilee on the 3rd June.
Please look out for tweets and updates of our learning.
On Friday 27th May, we are asking for children to come dressed as royalty or in their Commonwealth country colours. Please do not go out and buy outfits, as throughout the week, children will be making props to use on the day.
On Friday 27th May, our AM Nursery children will be joining us at 12.45pm for the afternoon celebrations.
Please join us at 3pm on Friday 27th May for the children to sing you the National Anthem.
We would appreciate if every child could either bring in a 50p donation for her Majesty's charity (The Reedham Children's Trust & The Royal School for the Blind) or a donation for our local food bank.

Well done Year 6!
Last week, our Year 6 pupils completed their end of Key Stage 2 (KS2) National Assessments, in maths and English, which included grammar, spelling, reading, arithmetic and reasoning tests.
We are so proud of our Year 6 children’s resilience and excellent behaviour during the week of assessments. We know that the children tried their best and we wish them the best of luck with their results.

Summer is here!
You’ve probably noticed that the weather is becoming a lot warmer and we should be looking forward to more sunshine in the coming weeks.
So please ensure that your child/children are dressed appropriately for the weather, including protective clothing, such as sun hats/caps, they are provided with water in a water bottle and have moisturised with sun cream. This will ensure they enjoy the warmer weather safely.

Helpline for Refugees and Asylum seekers in Newham
There is a new helpline for anyone who has come to Newham as an asylum seeker or refugee - or anyone trying to support or help people. It's for anyone who has a question. They are not able to do specific case work or give specific immigration advice, but can help with general questions (e.g. housing, funding, food) and brokering connections.
For any questions, please email welcome.newham@gov.uk
