African Drumming

In year 1, we have been extremely lucky to attend the African drumming workshop at school. We had the opportunity to play the drum and create djembe rhythm in an exciting and energetic way.
anti-bullying week

Anti-Bullying Week 2022 (Monday 14th – Friday 18th November) has the theme ‘Reach out’ this year. The week will begin with Odd Socks Day which will take place on the first day of Anti Bullying Week, Monday 14th November, to help raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week. During assemblies and PSHE lessons next week, our children will learn about the importance of using kind words and what to do if they see bullying.
Children (and staff!) are encouraged to get involved and wear the wackiest socks they can find at home and wear them to school on Monday!

We will be hosting our Coffee Morning once again for the Autumn 2 Term, please come and join us!
Attendance Matters
Getting your child into school on time matters. Did you know…

Getting your child into school on time matters, as lateness can add up. In Autumn 1, we had a high percentage of pupils who arrived at school after 8:55am. Going forward each week, we will be having a Late Gate at each of our sites, at which parents will be issued with a Punctuality Notice by members of the senior leadership. Persistent lateness will result in a meeting with the Attendance Officer Mr Brewster.
