ESOL classes are now up and running - they will take place every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm. Energy Kidz Wraparound Care offers parents and guardians complete peace of mind by fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all children and providing a program that is of the highest quality. Each day their Whole of Child philosophy delivers enriching opportunities to enjoy play and activity through a fun-packed daily activity programme. Their activities are split between 6 categories which children will experience throughout the week - Express Yourself, Learning to Thrive, Learn through Play, Wellness, Let’s get Moving and Skills for Sports. Year 2 went back in time
Year 2 started the year by going back in time... which took them back 356 years to 2nd September 1666.
The children have been immersed in their learning about the Great Fire of London through videos, role play, sequencing events in chronological order and a visit to the Museum of London, where they saw a rich display of artifacts and objects that were used in 1666.

Newham Talking Therapies Offers mental health and wellbeing support to adults who live and work in Newham. The service offers a range of online workshops that support a range of topics such as; Managing Workplace Stress, Anxiety, Low Mood, Improving sleep, Confidence Building and much more. Upton Cross Book Fair - COMING SOON!!
We are pleased to inform you that the Book Fair will be returning to Upton Cross from Wednesday 5th until Tuesday 11th October 2022. Each class will be given the chance to visit the fair during school time to buy books and stationery. Children will need to make sure they bring the exact money on the day of their slot. Please see the letter below for a taster of some of the books your child can buy at the fair and the timetable. We hope they find something they like!
