I have worked to hard and to long to let anything stand in the way of my goals. i will not let my teammates down and i will not let my selfdown.

Im not someone who goes around the locker room. Before a game trying to motivate my Teemates. I Dont say a lot before a game. I dont say a lot in general. It takes to much energy to do that. 

playing sports is not about winning gold medals.          its about building self-esteem learning to compete and learning how hard you half to work in order to achieve your goals.

in September 2004 Mia and her u.s Olypics teammates began a farewell soccer tour. she retired after the final game on December 8th 2004.After her retirement Mia continued to particiapate in the Mia Hamm foundation witch she founded in 1997 after her brother garret died of Aplastic anemia a type of blood desorder

Mia was born march 17 1972 in Selma Alamama Mia Hamm loved to play soccer at young age.she was a gifted athlete who was used to playing sports with boys. her older brother garret was her playmate. as Mia grew older garret worked with Mia on her soccer skills.

Mia has won a lot of medals and awards. Like in 2000 she won the silver medal. She is great at soccer. she Trys new teams to help teams out. Her are some awards she won. From the first time she picked up a soccer ball,Mia Hamm was determined to be the best. This determition began when she was very young she excelled at soccer so much that she was asked to join the united states team at fifteen years old. This made her the youngest person ever to be on the team. In 1989 Mia enrolloed at the university of north Carolina where she helped lead the soccer team to 4 national championships.
