These flowers under the raining clouds are made from cotton swabs and construction paper.

Different kinds of materials:The bloom made from plastic caps, the stalk from a drinking straw and a real leaf.

It wasn’t easy but it was interesting even if the experiment was unsuccessful.

When kids want to draw flowers,they use all their imagination!!!

Melina cut pieces from a roll.She painted them and then she formed the bloom and the leaves.That’s an incredible idea!

Construction paper,napkin, drinking straw, threads and colorful paper.All these for the fantastic plants.

It’s about one month that in Athens we are in a lock down because of covid-19.That’s why our schools are closed and we have our lessons by distance learning.One of the subjects we are working on is “The plants” because of the program “Our garden” and because the spring has arrived and we all love this season.The children didn’t forget our actions at school, so they adapted their caring at home, to their plants.This books shows our students homework and actions.We hope that they will surprise you with their skills.

When the children have an inspiration,nobody can stop them.So when we learned how the plants are growing up, we noticed and the parts of a plant.The kids worked on incredible works using different kinds of materials to make a plant and wrote the parts of it:roots,stalks,leaves and blooms.

A drinking straw is used for the stalk and and pieces of cord for the roots.

The name of this picture is “A home in the flower field”.<br/>Our small drawer has chosen to draw a red rain to water the flowers.

Our students became drawers, gardeners and...scientists.They were experimenting to see if the white flowers can change their colour if we put them in a colorful water.

And last, lilies from cotton pads, drinking straws and cotton swabs in the middle of the bloom.

Irene couldn’t wait anymore so she cut the blooms and...<br/>She dipped them into the colorful water!!!!

That was Irene’s clever way to change the colour of the flowers and she did it!!!
