Dear Parents and Students,The World Champion of Public Speaking 2023, Ms. Joyceline Tyson is by profession a vaccine health and science specialist. But she pursues her passion in public speaking and grooms others in public speaking. She has attributed her win to sheer determination, grit and hard work. Jocelyn said “You will get the most growth when you push yourself from your comfort zone. This win is a sprout in my garden. I will continue to cultivate my connections, work hard in my new job, and share positive messages. I want to see how my garden grows. I can take my flowers and share them with other people.”
My dear students, I urge all of you to take cues from Tyson, push yourself beyond your comfort zone, pursue your passion, work hard and accomplish your tasks. Share your knowledge and expertise with others, share positive messages and inspire others to achieve their tasks.
November has seen quizzing taking off in full swing with our students participating in many inter-school competitions. The students have proved their mettle in all of them and have won many laurels for Assisi. Sports have also spread their wings far and wide to make Assisi a known name at the district and state levels.
