Dear Parents and Students,

The Christmas manger, the first message of the divine Child, tells us that God is with us, he loves us, and he seeks us. So, take heart! Do not allow yourself to be overcome by fear, resignation or discouragement. God was born in a manger so that you could be reborn in the very place where you thought you had hit rock bottom. There is no evil, there is no sin, from which Jesus does not want to save you. And he can. Christmas means that God is close to us: Let confidence be reborn!

Amnaya 2023 was resplendent with the spectacular display of the talents of Assisians. A variety of merry-making activities galore invoked the spirit of Christmas season.

Three cheers to all the winners of sports, quizzes, art and literary events. Hearty congrats dear ones!

Amnaya 2023, Kiddies' Annual Day was celebrated with great grandeur on 1 December, 2023. The Chief Guest of the day was Dr. Hannah Reji Koshy, Cine Actress and our proud Alumnus. Ms. Preetha Paul the Headmistress of Alphadale presented the Annual Report. The Individual Champions of Sports, Best Performers of Talent Fest and 'A' Grade scholarship winners were honoured with Cash Awards, Medals and Certificates. The students from Nursery, Kindergarten and classes I-IV performed a variety of programmes.

‘Life becomes a festival when Gaiety and Culture blend’. Amnaya 2023, the 30th Annual Day Celebrations was held on 2nd December, 2023 and saw our incredible tradition and legacy evolving around the nostalgic moments. Very Rev. Msgr. Mathew Elanjimittam, Vicar General, Archdiocese of Verapoly, presided over the function. Honourable Justice Sunil Thomas, Judicial Member, Central Administrative Tribunal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The champions, best performers and 'A' grade scholarship achievers along with the members of the faculty who completed 25 years were honoured. PTA President, Prof. Dr. Sabu. M.C. addressed the gathering. The School Captain Master. Arwin Augustine proposed the vote of thanks. After the formal function, a repertoire of events filled with the enchanting beauty of yesteryears embracing endless possibilities offered by the timeless elegance and grace of our enriching culture and tradition was presented by Assisians. The main highlight of this magnificent evening filled with profound euphoria was the presence of CHAKYAR along with the accompaniment of the sacred instrument Mizhavu.

KIDDIES' MISTLETOE

Christmas season spreads bliss and happiness all over the world and our students of classes I to V celebrated it on 21 December, 2023. The school was decorated with cutouts of bells, stars, Santa caps and Christmas trees which were prepared by the students. Sankeerthana Amal Nair of IV F and Antony Boby of V E were the Emcees and the celebration commenced with the Christmas tree lighting by the Director Rev. Fr. Jacob Baiju Ben and was followed by a Christmas carol by the school choir. Our Director shared an inspiring Christmas message with the students. The nativity scene was enacted by the students. Prize distribution for various competitions, conducted as part of the celebration, was done by Rev. Dr. George Mathirapilly, which was followed by the reading of a letter to Santa by Nikita T K from VF. The celebration became more alive with the rhythmic steps of Santa and his companions.
