The Middle Colonies

People in the Middle Colonies did a lot of things. The stuff they did was fur trading, farming, and lumbering. They also mined unlike both of the other colones and there were merchants. There were also sailors.

People killed beavers and other animals and then they took their fur off. They made clothes and stuff like that. This became popular and a lot of people started doing it. The fur is really soft and looks pretty.

People moved to the Middle Colonies for fur trading, and they needed more room for settlers. They also came for religious reasons, the Quakers.

The Middle Colonies have a lot of natural resources. They had deep rivers unlike the New England and Southern Colonies, they had iron, and better farming then the New England Colonies. They also had hot summers and cold winters.
