The Road to DesperadoLoading...
P.B.CPROLOUGE
My name is James and I’ll tell you the story of the road to Desperado
How did I get into this mess?Where did it all go wrong?
Arriving in a barren town,to find insane searches for a crazy and dark truth, just to prove I wasn’t crazy.
Oh what a fool I was coming here just to find the truth…or was I?
Where did it all begin?
About six days ago, there I was sitting in the back seat of the car looking out the window, only to see a dry desert filled with cactuses that looked like gunslingers in a western bar.
Pow! pow! pow!
Bored out of my mind,I moaned,”Mumm are we there yet?”
“Not too far James” she replied, trying to give some sense of hope.
“Yeah right”I said with a hint of sarcasm.

CHAPTER ONE THE MYSTERIOUS TOWN.
At that point I had a thought of concern that we were heading nowhere until…
“Oh Dad you headless goose! We've been going the wrong way the entire time!”
“How?”Dad replied with concern.
I told him how South of here a few miles back I saw a sign that had the writings.
Deda,Ende which means Dead End!
After a while what seemed like a black mirage that looked like huge thick oak trees that had been burnt by a fire came into view.As we got closer the view became clearer,it wasn’t a mirage, neither burnt oak trees it was a massive town full of old brown board buildings.
Before long, in the blink of an eye we arrived at a big black rusted iron gate at the north side of the town with two words bolted on to it.

Los Desporo.
Never in my life had I ever seen such a rundown town; old broken houses with cracked floorboards and paint shavings hanging off like banana peels, with shattered glass windows with huge\ amounts of dust on what was left of them, and strangely there were also red, black and white skulls everywhere including hanging off the fountain spout.
Not only that but withered flower petals were everywhere including on the east side where the cemetery was located.
Some locals were on the streets collecting their children who were playing on the streets but instantly they went straight back inside, in the blink of an eye, it was like they were afraid of us or something else. They kept walking in and out and I could see their faces filled with fright and aghast and they never spoke a word like their mouths were as shut as locked doors.

CHAPTER TWO THE OLD HOTEL.
Anxiously my parents and I stepped outside to look around.
“Maybe we should leave,” my father said cautiously.
“We can’t, the car’s engine will overheat in two miles, ” Mom exclaimed.
Realizing I was stuck in this place I decided to wander around the place. After some time I went to the west side of the town, as I reached the center and turned left to the west I saw a road, a very abandoned road. It stretched as the eye could see, I knelt to feel the road and strangely it felt very soft and cold as if no one had driven on it in years.
Suddenly I saw a man, a very strange man who looked Mexican, with a weird rainbow cape and his dog by his side, probably a greyhound. He stared at me so weirdly as if I had walked into his territory.
Later that day my parents decided to stay in a hotel called Cinco Libras

We headed to the reception, and from there we walked into an old hotel room that was damp and musty and smelt like old socks, plus the furniture looked like it was made several years ago.
When sundown happened the moon rose and illuminated the city. After dinner I headed for bed, as I sat on the bed I heard a thud, I leaned to find a suitcase under the bed by the shelf.
Anxiously I clicked open the case to find a black book with a gold letter inscription; Rise and Fall of the Aztecs.
Nearly asleep I thought of the Aztecs during their downfall.
CHAPTER THREE THE WEIRD DREAM AND THE FILE.
While I slept peacefully in my slumber, I saw something strange: eight priests walking towards a pyramid-shaped building with four towers. I tried to hear them but all I could hear from seven of them was summon sina, summon sina, summon sina.
As quick as a flash I was sucked back out of my dream and woke up confused,” Sina?”
Never had I ever had such a weird dream that strangely felt real, too real. Instead, I tried to forget by seeing what was happening, Mom was cooking breakfast and Dad fixing up the car, still, I had the thought of one thing in my mind,
“Don’t think about the road.”
